Ski-in Putha Hinchuli

The Putha Hiunchuli, also known as Dhaulagiri VII, is the most western cornerstone of the Dhaulagiri group. Other than the rest of 7000m peaks the Putha Hiunchuli is standout amongst the most excellent mountain.

In 1954 Jimmy Roberts, a legendary explorer & The British Expedition Team first ascended the Summit of mt. Putha Hiunchuli. Mt Dhaulagiri is the home of some of the world’s most impressive peaks so it’s an excellent opportunity for climbers to explore the less beaten region of Dhaulagiri. Mount Putha is the 95th most elevated mountain in the world and you can expect the wilderness gliding through its slopes. This rarely Climbed mountain is distinct you might have a hard time getting to base camp. Two Distinct faces of Putha have a lofty, technical ridge which is pioneered by Japanese amid 70’s and less demanding snow climb toward the northern flanks.

We will follow the less demanding snow inclines, settle the routes and guarantee wellbeing for climbing and skiing. The Putha expedition start-off with two exciting mountain flights to Nepalgunj and Jhupal, followed by a 6-day trek to base camp(4900m).

Throughout the following week or somewhere in the vicinity, we trek towards the east, picking uprise. We will camp en route, with our Sherpa cook group setting up our suppers. In the long run, we enter the Bharbun Khola valley, which folds over the north side of the Dhaulagiri range. This is in the Dolpo region of Nepal & It’s remote, less crowded, and alluring. Base Camp is at around 4900 meters (16,000 feet). Above BC, we will build up camps. since the route is full of snow and ice we prepare to ski on the surface.

The team will look out for you & your technical skills, later you are provided with an experienced Sherpa guide to polish your technical abilities & tricks for high altitude. This expedition is perfect for adventure lovers who are ready to unleash Ski expedition in the Himalayas. We are excited to run this program again and are looking forward to working with you on this expedition!
