Singu Chuli is known as the fluted peak. Wilf Noyce and David Cox scaled the peak via its North East face and the top section of the East Ridge. Fluted Peak is the third highest peak among the trekking peaks of Nepal. Singu Chuli (Fluted peak) is the popular and beautiful trekking peak of Annapurna region. Singu Chuli peak is open for climbing under mountaineering association Nepal. Height of Singu Chuli peak is 6501. Mountaineering association Nepal declared the Mt. Singu Chuli peak in group B category climbing peak. Main attraction of Singu Chuli peak is panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7219m), Annapurna III (7555m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Baraha Shikhar (7647m), Khangsha Kang (7485m), Tarke Kang (7193m), Gangapurna (7454m), Tharpu Chuli (6501m) and Gandharba Chuli (6250m) etc. Singu Chuli peak is situated at Annapurna Himalayan range in Annapurna region at Manang District, Nepal.
Singu Chuli is known as the fluted peak. The peak has verified to be very difficult to climb for most commercial climbing groups who have tried to concentrate on tent peak. This peak is situated in the Annapurna Sanctuary adjoined to Tharpu Chuli and across Hiunchuli peaks. We arrive at the base camp of Singu Chuli in spectacular six days walk up the Modi Khola gorge to the Annapurna Sanctuary. Base camp at around 4350m/14668ft and then establish two higher camps, one at 4,900m/16,000ft at the approach of North East Face and a higher one at 5,500m/18,000ft. on the North East Face of the mountain before the summit is gained. A vertical wall near the summit pose some technical challenge on this climb. This climb is suggested to only those with some alpine and ice climbing experience.
