Naya Kanga(5,844 m), also known as Ganja-La Chuli, is magnificently situated in the Langtang region of Nepal which rises to the west of Ganja La, and is a popular but difficult mountain to climb. The normal route to this peak is via the snowy north-east ridge. The first climber of this peak is still unknown. The most important reward of climbing Naya Kang is the stunning view of Lantang Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang 7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m) and mighty Shishapangma (8027m) in Tibetan side. Easy access to the region and availability of several snow peaks scattered around for acclimatization make this region an ideal destination for mountaineers.
