Lhakpa Ri [7,045m./23,000ft.] is an attractive peak, which divides the upper East Rongbuk glacier and upper Kharta glacier. Mt. The name Lhakpa-Ri means “Stormy Mountain” and is situated in a stunning position directly opposite the North Ridge of Mount Everest, across upper East Rongbuk Glacier.The visit to Lhasa, the overland journey across the Tibetan Plateau, the trek in the footsteps of Mallory and a climb with awesome views of Everest, are the ingredients of a very special expedition.
