Everest base camp and Kala Patta (Heli) Trekking


The Everest base camp trek is a classic Nepal Himalayan trekking with incredible views and rewards. Everest base camp trekking known as Everest base camp and Kala Patta (Kalapathar) Trekking, it is in Khumbu/Everest region of Nepal. Everest base camp trek is one of the most famous trekking traik in the world and is located in Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park. Mount Everest base camp trekking has been a popular destination for trekkers since the very first expeditions to the Nepalese side of Everest in the 1953.

This trekking to Everest base camp provides the opportunity to reach the Everest base camp 5364 meters and Kala Patta 5550 meters height. Everest base camp or Kala Patta there are not available any teahouses facilities so if you prefer to go Everest base camp, as teahouse (Lodge camp) basis trekking you should have to stay at Gorak Shep (5160m) then hiking to the Everest base camp and Kala Patta from Gorak Shep. Normally, Trekkers visit Everest base camp in afternoon as the same day they arrive in Gorak Shep from Loluche and the next day morning climb the Kala Patta (5550m). . Everest base camp trekking is started from Lukla (after 35 minutes flight from Kathmandu airport). There are daily flights available from Kathmandu airport but sometime flight might be cancel due to the bad weather so it will be better to have few days extra in Kathmandu before flyin back to your county.

Everest base camp trekking, where you can enjoy with beautiful views including of Mt Everest (8848m), Mt Lhotse (8516m), Mt Nuptse (7855m), Mt Pumori (7161m), Mt Changaste (7550m), Mt Lingterin (6679m), Mt Amadablam (6856m), Mt Thamserku (6723m), Mt Kusum Khagaru (6367m), Mt Kongde (6611m), Mt Khumbila (5761m), Mt Twache peak (6367m), Mt Cholaste (6335m), Island peak (6179m), Lobuche peak (6145m), Pokalde peak (5806m), Honku south peak (6119m) and can sopt various animals such as musk dears, leopards, jackal, mountain Thar, birds such as Pheasant, long tails birds and Sherpa culture.

Everest base camp trekking is possible to organize camping ( Tented camp) trekking or teahouse (Lodge camp) trekking but most of the trekkers choose in previous as teahouse basis trek which is comparatively cheaper than camping trek and also Everest base camp trek has good network of teahouse facilities.
We prefer to have 30% of the total amount after the confirmation of the booking and, the rest amount our clients can make it upon arrival in Kathmandu.

  • Please note that climbers have been delayed in Lukla awaiting return to KTM. At times helicopters can fly when planes cannot. Helicopter cost is approximately $500 -600 paid by the trekker.

Day 02: Half-day city tour and drive to Manthali (Ramechhap) –overnight hotel (B/B)
Day 03:Manthali (Ramechhap) – Lukla (2800 m) by plane (10min), Trek to Phakding (3 hours trek) – overnight lodge (B/L/D)
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) (5 to 6 hours trek) – overnight lodge (B/L/D)
Day 05: Acclimatization day, day hike to Shyangboche (3,833m) (2 hours trek) – overnight lodge (B/L/D)
Day 06: Trek to Thyangboche (3,780m) (4 to 5 hours trek) – overnight lodge (B/L/D)
Day 07: Trek to Dingboche (4,365m) (4 to 5 hours trek) – overnight lodge (B/L/D)
Day 08: Acclimatization day, day hike to Chhukung (4 to 5 hours trek) – overnight lodge (B/L/D)
Day 09: Trek to Lobuche at (4,955m) (4 to 5 hours trek) – overnight lodge (B/L/D)
Day 10: Trek to Gorak Shep (5,395m) (7 to 8 hours trek) – overnight lodge (B/L/D)
Day 11: Climb Kalapattar (5,545m), heli from kalapattar
Day 12: Free day
Day 13: Departure
