Perhaps Every Nepal visitor dreams of trekking to the foot of the world’s greatest peak, Mt. Everest, and camping among the hardy Sherpa people who lives in its shadow. The route followed by trekkers to this Khumbu region (Thame Valley, which contains three of world’s seven highest mountains.This high altitude Everest Base Camp trek explores the heart of the Sherpa homeland, visiting Namche Bazaar before ascending the stunning Gokyo Valley to the glacial lakes under Cho Oyu (8153m). Here we climb Gokyo Ri for a marvellous view of Everest and the rest of this high mountain wilderness. We cross the glaciated Cho La Pass and rejoin the classic route to Base Camp used by the great climbing parties.
Day 01: Kathmandu, 1360m arrive transfer to hotel
Day 02: Half-day city tour and drive to Manthali (Ramechhap)
Day 03: Manthali (Ramechhap) – Lukla (2800 m) by plane (10min) –Phakding
Day 04: Phakding to Namche.
Day 05: Namche – acclimatization day
Day 06: Namche to Phorche
Day 07: Phorche to Dingbuche
Day 08: Dingbuche – acclimatization day
Day 09: Dingbuche to Labuche
Day 10: Lobuche to Gorakshep & same day visit Everest Base Camp (5310m)
Day 11: Gorakshep visit Kala Pattar (5545m) then back to Pheriche (4240m) or Dingbuche
Day 12: Pheriche or Dingbuche to Tengboche (3867m)
Day 13 Tengboche to Namche (3440m)
Day 14: Namche to Lukla
Day 15: Lukla – Manthali (Ramechhap) drive back to Kathmandu
Day 16: Katmandu Departure
