Yillajung Churten 2019

Looking at the horrible condition of this Churten we cannot keep ourselves silent. In 2018 we are planning to make this Churten located at Helajung which was damaged during an Earthquake. 4 years have passed yet no one came forward and said “I’ll start to rebuild it”. It is very difficult to build a Churten like this so we planned to build the stupa Charok Lama Tenzing Thelay, Ngawang Lumdok Thamo, and Fura Chhamzi Sherpa Kathmandu. We start raising funds and after a year we completed the stupa with the help and trust of the kind-hearted donner. We all worked together to protect & maintain what our ancestors had left for us. Therefore we have collected funds and aid for this Churten. I want to thank all of the donner for their kind support to help for Helajung Churten to recovered from the earthquake.

Good news for the doner. Our Churten (Stupa) is 75 complete. The remaining work will be completed by the 2nd week of Nov. After that, we are planning to publish all the donor’s name and our opening ceremony. This is what we have done until now with the help of our doner. Thank you to all our doner.
